  1. Collection of resource provision fees

  2. In order to ensure the stable supply of bioresources and the continuous operation of the project, NBRP has requested that all users pay the appropriate amount, based on the principle of beneficiary payment. Collection started in the fiscal year 2010. Since April 1st, 2017, with the 4th NBRP at the Amphibian Research Center at Hiroshima University, we have collected fees for miscellaneous expenses (including preparation of resources, packaging, etc.) in addition to shipping fees collected previously. The revenue will contribute to the stable supply of resources and quality improvement, that would ultimately benefit users. We appreciate your understanding.

  3. 09-01-2020

  4. Prices for users in Hiroshima University have been revised due to the increased costs associated with breeding and packaging. This revision includes the increase in the sales tax rate.

2︎⃣ Shipping fees (Users in Japan should return the empty Styrofoam box by post, cash on delivery).

Users used to pay shipping costs (both shipping and returning a Styrofoam box) directly to the transport company, such as a post office or Yamato Transport. Currently, users in Japan pay for resources and shipping to Hiroshima University in a lumpsum, as an improvement on the payment method. We have received the following amount as a shipping fee including handling and packaging expenses, shown below. When filling out the order form, please choose [Yu-Pack] or [Yamato Transport]. As for shipping to Hokkaido and Okinawa areas, only Yu- Pack is available, due to air transport. We then send the shipping label (postage cash on delivery) from the transport company that you have chosen, along with the Styrofoam box. Please use it when returning the empty Styrofoam box to us.
